A lifelong resident, attorney, wife and mother from Western Pennsylvania, Stephenie Scialabba will serve the residents of the 12th District by advocating for and protecting the values that are important to the District and the Commonwealth.
Her legislative priorities include encouraging economic growth, helping small businesses and domestic energy production, responsibly scaling back the regulatory environment across our major industries, respecting and expanding parental rights and choice in education and medicine, defending our Constitutional rights, lowering taxes, and supporting veterans, first responders and law enforcement.
Prior to joining the General Assembly, Stephenie focused her legal practice on data privacy and cybersecurity matters. She will use her experience to advance the privacy rights of Pennsylvanians and create realistic solutions for these evolving issues. Stephenie also served as a judicial law clerk for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
Stephenie earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees with highest honors in political science and history at the University of Pittsburgh. As a Truxall Scholar, she also completed her Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law while simultaneously fulfilling her duties as Senior Managing Editor of the University’s Law Review and as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing.
In service to her community, she has volunteered with Treasures for Children, a holiday toy program by The Salvation Army to help children experience Christmas. She also supports Tunnels to Towers, the Wounded Warrior Project, and has assisted the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in several capacities through her roles as chair of Law Night, co-chair of Young Professionals Club and member of the New Leadership Council.
